well you would have depend on what you think is you essential you. then we also must know what it means to exist
-------------------- Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.---senior doobie
Firstly, I feel that 'Physical Reality' is TRUTH (not the entire truth, but TRUTH...)
In order for my Spiritual Entity to exist within, process and learn from this Reality, it is forced to conform with certain concepts of 'Space' & 'Time' which are the 'Rules of Engagement' for this part of the journey...(Time is Man's attempt to measure Eternity against the span of his own life).
I believe that I already do 'exist forever'.
Ketamine once showed me what eternity is... there was no sense of 'forever' as a time-bound entity might imagine 'forever' to be, there simply 'IS'.
In answer to your query... How can something whis "IS" become "NOT"?
If physical reality (Time) were the ultimate reality and this state were something which was yet to become, Non-Existance could be possible. I don't, however, believe that to be the case...
-------------------- Shrooms aren't everyone's cup of tea... (Some folks just eat 'em)
We would have to prove and thoroughly define a soul. If the souls is your memory, feelings and your mind then yes, it can seize to exist as soon as those chemicals and electrical ions stop kicking on that piece of meat up there. SO would all the energy in your body, exept for a few reflexes and twitches that scare the shit out of those guys that work at the mourge. If you have your own theories of how these memories, experiences, feelings, and bonds carry them selves onto a diffrent realm post-physical life; withought any kind of cellular memory or atomic composition, then you my friend are a beliver in the after life. Wich in that case, i guess all is possible to you.
