could it be?
    #2326069 - 02/12/04 10:38 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the Lord said,"My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." There were gaints on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came into the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old,men of renown. GENESIS 6,VERSE 1-4 now my question is to ya'll today is could these men of renown be what the ancient egyptians held as diffrent gods?

Most theologians believe that the "Sons of God" were fallen angels who came to earth and interbred with human women. Their children were giants, the Nephilim. The fallen angels (or aliens) could have been mistaken as gods, and the children would be demigods (aka Zeus and Hurcules). Goliath was supposedly a descendent of the Nephilim, as were two other giants mentioned in 1 and 2 Samuel. The latter two had six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot.

Wow, there is almost no way to ever be able to distinguish that as fact.
Peace.

yeah, that book is a trip.
Also, check 'claims' regarding Sumerian culture and the Annunaki, said to be the same as the Nephilim.  Zecharia Sitchin writes about this, but I have not read any of his books.
