Used to be an everyday smoker/vaper for years, and would usually take a break for sober-October.

I had some traumatic shit happen with a former childhood friend back in Jan 2020 while I was on a thc break. When I returned to thc after the break, as quickly as you can snap your fingers, I had a panic attack, where I started to question things about myself, and it was debilitating. Over the rest of the year, I would still vape/smoke here and there, and during quarantine, I was more into edibles, but I couldn't take the anxiety anymore. I went July to early Nov without thc which really helped. Moved states in Nov and took a couple of hits off a joint, which sent my anxiety back up, and I felt like I couldn't shake it for like a month. I think it's because I still have the association with that panic attack, my friends shit, and thc.

I do miss weed on occasion and have cravings here and there. One good thing that has come from the panic attack, is that I have really been focusing on my mental health. I believe that I have a mild case of OCD (undiagnosed), which is why I couldn't shake some of the thoughts/questions I had for the better part of a year, but have been practicing mindfulness, meditation, and cognitive based therapies to ease some of my suffering. I'm currently growing some GT for the first time right now, and am looking forward to using the medicine, along with the above mental practices, to help further heal.
