Yes there is a cluster of 4-6 shrooms fruiting straight from the grains. I could just open the bag and let them fruit like that, but i really would like to use the grains to colonize a bulk to get dat good yield. Same thing happened to me a week ago, and that tub looks like it's colonizing OK.
And r3dz, I don't mind if it sets me back a couple of days as long as it pays of yieldwise.

Don't fruit from grains. Yield will suck. It's pretty amazing that they fruited in the first place. I'm waiting for inocuole to roll around and see because he's said to me before he's never seen cubes fruit in grains invitro.

Ha, right off the grain. I take it back. Just pluck those shrooms and use it like you would.

That's not what blowout looks like. Picture a banana being peeled or a pinecone look.

My jars at the moment. Some were shaken a few days before others. Ignore the stickers, all these are Ecuador.

Just some of the creepers. I'm taking a bunch of prints now.
I did notice a couple of the fruits got late infections of Lecanicillium. I didn't notice any major infections, however. Just a couple of stipes beginning to split, and a couple got gnarly now in flush 2. Does that jeopardize all the prints I'm taking? I'd really like to give away a couple, but can't be giving away contaminants...

They just do, kinda difficult to explain... the varying densities of the mycelium and the way they're speckled throughout are an indicator something could be up though.

They were from MS. Could that explain the different densities?
