Wow no kidding, awesome collection though dude!

You don't let them get full sun?

You could build some kind of cover shelter thing if you cared a lot

but it's a good test for your mineral mix if you don't mind the possibility of losing some.

How old are the Lophs in the third picture, and the big ones in the bag of the 4th?

I also really like that super strange pelycephora is it?

I care but what can i do. Nature is gonna do what nature does.

The large lophophora is a degraft that was on a permanent stock for years. Thwn i degrafted it. Now its growing on its own roots. There is one fricii and one williamsii. 2 big degrafts.

The pelecyphora is almost 2 decades old. Ive had it for 9 years and was already past a decade in age. Funny with that one was that it never flowered in regular soil. It was only when i gave it 100% rock that it flowered. 2 years straight now. And several others have flowred in rock as well.

Too many to bring in and too heavy.

As you can see the willies have taken up a considerable amount of water but no rot or splitting. So thats 4 waterings in total in thw last 2 weeks. Lets see how the continue to do in the coming weeks.

Yep. All dems rocks carnal, love it! :yesnod:

Thanks bro. They sure do love the rock but the lophophora are the slower ones to flower. All the others have have slowly been doing it. Dag from xerophilia said it takes about 2 seasons for them to start flowering. My pelecyphora did so the following season when i put them in rock this is the second season for most. None of my lophophora have flowered just my big degrafts. The others have not. Maybe next year. And my Astrophytum ornatum has not flowered at all. Ive had it for 9 years and nothing. Even when i switched ot to rock. My myriostigma however flowered the following season. And has not let up at all.

They be happy. I have seen nothing but good things with this soil revolution. They love it. They flower and they thrive and most importantly, stay true to nature. Which is what i love the most.

Thank you my good man. They do look great now that they are in rock. Regular soil never seemed to do thwm justice. Now they flower with out a hitch.

Another repot. I was gonna wait since it has been raining but look at the curvature of that pot. Anymore and it would certainly break through.

On a sadder note, i lost all my strombo seedlings. Damn neighbors dogs kicked over the pot and dug shit up and knocked over some lophs. I cant even vacation in peace. I have more seed but since the seeds was a gift and i had plenty i decided to gift the left over seed. Good thing the seed gift also came with couple years old plants so once they flower im sure ill get more.

Life of a grower man... We can't go on vacation, that's part of the deal. Unless you have someone that you trust enough to take care of each one of the various needs of all your plants, something is going to end up dead/broken/etc every time, IME

Quoted for truth! It's the rest of the plants you've gotta worry about.
