How often do you guys trip?

After my first flush ever was harvested, I made the mistake of tripping three days in a row.. and I felt a bit foolish for letting myself overindulge. I've definitely decided that it's something to be done at the most once a week, maybe twice on special occasions.. but even then I probably won't be doing it that often again. The tolerance builds up much too quickly. I'm not even sure what the health risks are, or what they may be.

I was wondering how often you guys eat mushrooms, and if there's any particular traditions you go through when you do it..

After a harvest, I'll eat at the most once a week, but normally once every two weeks.

I normally grow once a year and use them maybe twice a month. Then I wait about a year again.

I used to trip three days a week however, your tolerance will seem to increase almost exponentially, requiring a much higher dose each time you trip if you haven't allowed enough time between trips. Drugs are a doorway, not a crutch. Once your eyes are open to that world, you don't need to keep yourself in a constant state of insanity.

Personally I think that tripping more often than every couple of months reduces the significance of the psychedelic experience. It would be a great shame to overinduldge too often and spoil the experience :frown:

Every couple of months for me means the experience doesn't get stale and it remains a learning experience - rather than tripping just to get fucked up.

I trip usually once a week and notice no tolerance problems and it never loses the spirituality with me... I've never tripped just to "get fucked up", though... It's more like church for me.

When I first started using mushrooms it was once a week. Then it turned into a couple times a year.. Now, its been over a year since I tripped last. But if I dont have something to keep me occupied the whole trip, I start stressing about everything in my life. Its usefull to get my priorities straight.
