Cs4 on brown rice

First time prepping straight brown rice so it came out a little clumpy. I need to practice my rice prep for sure.
I used 4 pieces of micropore tape for each filter
Rice was hydrated with this recipe: First i boiled potato flakes to make a potato broth then i added 1/4 of a vitamin b1 tab (thyamine hcl) Then a half gram of amino acids including wheat and soy peptides half a teaspoon of mgs04 Rice was boiled in said mixture till hydrated, sterilized, then inoculated via cs4 LI. This is day 6 of colonization. Next comes consolidation for a few weeks then im gonna dry and grind up then add to my reishi tincture!

Dys said: Worked on my planter today. Harvested 3L of colonized ovoideocystidiata chips and stem butts.
Used a thick colonized piece of wood about 4" long and half dollar size. Managed to get all this down to the next layer of ovoid spawn. Made about 80 prints yesterday so I put them in a mister. Going to a local park and spraying it everywhere. Four sheets about 20 prints each, 20 prints turned the water dark brown. Had 3L coir from another project so I soaked it with solution and set it outside, better than throwing it away. Planter is getting watered with spores =) Overkill and a waste of prints but you know me enough by now that I'm doing it just because =)
I should end up with a few gallons of spore water and I know exactly where it's being sprayed.

Clockwise from the purple flower.
Firewitch, Creeping Charlie, East Friesland Sage flower, Ballerina Rose, some more East Friesland and Creeping Charlie, centered around some Silverbush.
Dude nice, I have some Costa ricans, PE and some ATls in my garden just picked two really small mushrooms today growing with my kale. i'm waiting to buy some agar so I can work with this ovoideocystidiata print i have

It definitely is an interesting species. The medicinal value is supposed to be off the charts and it's been a fun grow so far.
Made some cricket agar, which i used for the LI, and that shit was nasty.. Mashed up crickets don't smell good and boiling them with the agar smelled even worse. Colonization on agar was definitely faster with crickets vs standard mea.
I really want a fruiting militaris strain as cs4 is non fruiting and not even technically a true cordyceps species but a sub species
Edit: also thanks again for the wedge! (you know who you are)

The latin name for cs4 is Paecilomyces hepiali which is an anamorph of ophiocordyceps sinensis but is not even technically the same species.
Heres an article from Aloha medicinals about cs4's history:

No prob, mayne! Been doin a lot of reading recently myself
I'm pretty excited to add it to my tincture even though it's not true sinensis. It still has a load of medicinal benefit and i'm just excited to be working with it in general! It's a 40 year old isolate and still colonized pretty quick

Actually, that's not too funny since I got fucked a few weeks back. Went to buy TMC from this 2nd hand online book store and a couple days later I was missing 350euro from my credit card. Either the seller fucked me or I got some shady shit on my phone. Last time I will buy anything without paypal. Good thing I had just taken 500euro from the account, they would have drained a whole month's paycheck.
Funny thing is that the money was taken to buy a couple of train tickets and the bank asked me if I was sure that I didn't buy them. That would be a logical thing to ask we had any trains in my country

Damn, you trying to revive frankenstein or something with all that wiring?
Nice setup dude. Question, What is the mycelium colonizing in pic 1? the side of the tub? Now I see why you use LED strips inside your tubs, no light can ever get through.
