Woops... Dunking problem....

I accidently froze my cakes.. and then when removing them from the ice cube they were attached to one of them got ripped in half.. one half was ruined but with the other half i wiped with some peroxide and put it in the fruiting chamber along with the other semi-frozen cake...

do you guys think these will be ok? i double-end cased them both after dunking..

I would guess if you froze your cakes they would be dead. I've never froze my cakes beofre nor have read post of anyone doing it. I'm sure it happens though. Do a search and see what you come up with.

i froze a few of mine by accident before, but it wasn't an ice cube. it was just that sheathy ice crust around it. they were fine.

If they were in the freezer for too long, they would definitely die as a result of being ruptured by ice crystals. Even minor freezing would set them back a bit. Was there any bluish bruising after you took them out?
