Epic stargazing last weekend. How was it where you live?

Last weekend in Northern California was the first good clear night sky to stargaze so far this year. I ate 5 grams of mush and laid on the beach. Starstepped for hours. I can't wait to go to Montana in August. The starstepping up there in big sky country is blue ribbon.
What's it like where you are from?

I only have to drive about 10 minutes in either direction and I can see an unpolluted sky. It's pretty dope.

As soon as I finish building my house I'll have the perfect stargazing location. I'm on the side of a mountain, my nearest neighbor is over a mile away, and the total population is under 500 for the county

Can you please describe starstepping? I googled it but am still unclear what you mean and it sounds like something I should be doing. Thanks.

What city? I just visited Seattle and Portland last week. And stayed in Olympia (albeit not a huge city, it is the capitol)....Now I'm back in Connecticut. It was sure beautiful out there.

You can't describe it with words. Psychedelic starstepping across the universe just happens if you are a starstepper. Keep looking up and it may happen one day when you least expect it.
