CASING FUZZ?.....
    #2322775 - 02/11/04 01:03 AM (13 years, 1 month ago)

I have just made 6 casings...coco-coir....they are doin awesome, very aggresive growth, but I noticed one of them has what appears to be mycelium growin on the side of the container, where there is no casing, or anything. just near the top...I also noticed this one has pretty high humidity....these are little white cottony balls of fuzz just sticking to the side of the casing container....what is it?

If it?s white, it doesn?t grow like a motherfucker and doesn?t smell odd you?re OK. Sometimes it happens. Does it look like this:

nope it looks like the beginning stages of myclium growth, but there is no substrate or casing near it, it is just little cottony balls along the upper edge of the casing container

You mean it?s growing in the casing container itself, right?. No problem, it happens. Just make sure it doesn?t grow like crazy or changes color.
