Salmon colored shelf fungi help

Habitat:

Beautiful fungi growing In my front yard under a large hardwood tree. Im in Virginia. These  two together are covering about  a 1x1 foot area. Looks tasty to me.:crazy2:

Looks to be the white pored chicken, Laetiporus cincinnatus.

Collect the parts that are soft enough to cut through easily. (the lighter colored outer few inches.)
Cook them almost any way you would cook chicken.

My first time using this. Just after washing it, WOW. Does it really resemble chicken. I am amazed

Just be sure to cook it thoroughly. Without letting it dry out, just like chicken.
And please remember to post a picture of dinner for us to all drool over..

Earliest I've ever found them was beginning of june.
But mushrooms fruit when they want.
