Canning dried shrooms and other alternative methods for long term storage

Hi dears.
I've been thinking this for a few days and did a bit of research but every time it sprouts in a thread it get trashed very soon without valid reasons, so I'm gonna ask... Why can't we store cracked dry shrooms in mason jars sealed in a PC? Of course I would add a desiccant pack inside. People keep saying that heat destroys active molecules but this is not true, otherwise we would not be able to make teas out of our mushrooms. So, what I'm missing here? Maybe a bit of vapor still enter the jar? Or there is something bad/dangerous about canning almost empty jars?
Does someone ever tried this? I've also read about a technique that involve a little candle putted inside the jar to absorb oxygen. This is intriguing too... Another interesting option is to put an empty jar in a microwave and let it warm, then put inside shrooms asap and close the lid. The hot air should create a vacuum in a few seconds.
Thoughts?

Just putting them in a jar with a desiccant pack will suffice... I'm sure those other methods could probably work in theory, but why bother?

I agree, crack dry plus desiccant works, but I'm curious to know why people buy vacuum sealers and other stuff for very long term storage if a PC and a big jar is all you need

Vaccuum bags take up less space and don't break. They're also cheaper.
If you try PC'ing dried mushrooms in a mason jar you'll emd up with a jar of burnt and charred mushroom ash...
