Net Weight of Substrate Per Volume or Finished Montub?

Has anyone out their got a specific net weight for a coir and/or hpoo based substrate? Wet or dry? Or the total weight of a monotub at spawn?
I am inspired by another forum member to track my moisture levels by weight. I've been looking at scales and I think I can buy a fairly accurate scale that can weigh a whole, typical 66 qt monotub pretty cheaply and accurately. Therefore, I can chart daily moisture loss by weight!
Of course, some of that water weight will be condensation and not a perfect indicator of moisture in the substrate but it might still be pretty good overall.
Please tell substrate formula, weight/volume, whether you mean dry or wet, and anything else relevant.

If I had a tub going and a scale I would simply weigh myself, then do it again holding the tub pre and post spawn etc.

Yes, that is good thinking--tare weight on a human scale--but I'm looking at some of the teks where people are putting substrates right into fruiting conditions at spawn time.
I'd like to track moisture levels in detail and with high precision. There are relatively cheap scales that can measure within about 1 gram at up to 17 lbs +/-. I think a monotub weighs less than 17 lbs but I haven't made one in a very long time--about 7 years

Maybe it sounds a bit crazy but it is a genuinely scientific approach to quantify everything. If we are going to weigh spawn for moisture content purposes, why not go all the weigh (stupid pun) and measure everything including the monotub if it is under the scale's max weight. It is not like I really have better things to do all the time, I watch too much TV as it is!
There is another decent scale that goes up to 26 lbs with a resolution less than 5 grams. This would be good enough but it costs a lot more than the 17 lb scale.
What is funny is that the calibration weights cost more than some of the scales thanks to Chinese manufacturing!

Yeah I'd just tare a normal empty tub and then put the full mono on there after.
Basically how I do when I'm weighing out old bags of mushrooms. I put a bag inside a cup and tare, then remove the empty bag and put the bag of mushrooms on top of the cup. Gotta be using the same kinda bags I guess.
