Odd measurement. So far I've heard 10lb, 5kg, 650g, and someone was trying to sell by quarts :facepalm3:

How many monos do you get from a 650g brick?

Thirty standard 650 grams blocks of coir is equivalent to 42.99 pounds.
So, yea those two are comparable prices.

They sell pre-hydrated coir by quarts, just stay away from that stuff.

A brick can go a lot of different ways depending on your ratios man. I use it for a mono and 5 big gulps normally, could probably even get away with making more. sounds like you got a good deal, as stated above that's more than 30 monos worth :yesnod:

I have a site where I can get 48 bricks for $76 + Free shipping.

BUT.................it's Eco Earth and I no longer reccommend using that brand now that I've used Exo Terra

I usually order 3 bricks exoterra for $4.99 when its priced like that as an add-on item on amazon. So $50 for 30 bricks of the quality stuff

Yeah I've yet to find a great deal on exo terra. I wonder if any sites do price matching?

I hear that Amazon has some sort of bot that tries to under-cut other site's prices.

well it's a 4.79 add on item currently yamoon and you can buy less than 40 lbs cause that's a little overkill (unless you are planning on 30 monos then it's ergonomical) just have to buy enough to be more than $25

http://www.amazon.com/Exo-Terra-Plantation-Quarts-3-Pack/dp/B001CY4ELE?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00

I have prime so idk about your shipping options if you don't have it. Worth checking out though

Hey AOL.... eco earth has been found to have some crazy random shit in it that could become vectors for tub annihilation if left unnoticed.

Exoterra is Mozilla Firefox of coco coir.

Mainly because of all of the seed hulls and other assorted junk I've found in Eco Earth. The Exo Terra seems to be more consistent and smells different to me for some odd reason.

I'm not saying exo terra is better, I'm just saying that eco earth is worse lol

Seems to be more consistent brick to brick and I haven't found any foreign things in it YET. A bit pricier though cause I was getting eco earth for tha low low
