How long for golden teachers to germinate?

For anyone knowledgable about golden teachers, about how long do they take on average to germinate? What are some strains known for germinating fast...in my experience, cambodians are fastest.

It all depends on what you are growing them in, temperates, water content, jar size, substrait. You need to come a bit more specific than that. And we call it colonizing, not germinating. Please read faqs.

Additionally, they are all cubies, so the time difference should not be too great.

Maybe he was acually asking how long does it take to "germinate". Germination and colonization is totally different

It should only take a couple days for the spores to germinate. For them to fully colonize the jar... that really depends on your set-up.

Just be patient. Once it will germinate, it will colonize really fast! Golden Teacher is in my experience, the more aggressive colonizer i've ever seen.

Ahh.. sorry. Well then, in my experience germination only takes 3-4 days with PF and about 2-3 with WBS. Sorry for the incorrect reply.

Had PF jars take as long as 2 months in 65-75 degree temps and as little as 3 weeks in 80 degrees. Popcorn and WBS so much faster.

ok i did a panama and it came out perfect now im trying the golden teacher and this will be my sec run with them and still no luck im using 2pound rye bags the temp stays around 81 to 84.9f how long should it take to see some thing at all the panama was a thick white now are the GT going to be the same
