How much substrate in monotub?

Hey guys I'm back to shrooms since I can not cultivate my mary jane at the new apartment this year. Gotta wait till I graduate at the end of this year! Anyways it's probably been over 4 years since I did my first BRF grow which came out okay accounting for the need of stealth/discreetness.
But now I don't have to worry about it and plan on doing a monotub. I ordered 4 pre sterilized bags of rye and compost from a mycohaus, a sponsor so I believe I can put this here? http://www.mycohaus.com/collections/mushroom-grow-kits/products/4-qty-all-in-one-5-pound-spawn-bag-rye-compost-mushroom-grow-kit
Yea yea I'm lazy but with me having a lot of things on my hands before graduating I took the lazy way out. The bags came quick and looked like they've been prepared correctly and I just inoculated them today. I hope they don't get contaminated...
All in all my question is are each bag enough to do a monotub? Should I combine all in one? Split to two? what would your advice be in this situation as I am not sure how much goes into one monotub for ideal conditions. Thank you in advance shroomery. Glad to be back.

Each bag should be enough spawn to inoculate a 66qt monotub.
Good luck!

These kits are designed to fruit in the bag. They are also meant to be less labor intensive. You inoculate through the self healing injection port, incubate and once the mycelium colonizes the rye grain, mix the bag up to distribute the the spawn throughout the compost. When the bag is fully colonized drop the temperature to induce fruiting.
If you wanted to go the mono tub route it is possible. These kits are 5 pounds each and the dimensions of the substrate are about 6’’ x 7’’ x 7’’ giving you 294 cubic inches of substrate. Sterilite make a clear 56 Qt. storage box that can be found at walmart or other online retail stores for about $6 the dimensions of this tote are 23 in. L x 16-1/4 in. W x 12-3/8 in. H. The dimensions of the bottom of the tote are 18 x 12.
You would want your layer of substrate at least 2-3 inches think with 1/2-1 inch of casing on top. This means you would need between 432-648 cubic inches of substrate. Two of these five-pound kits would work in a 56 Qt tub.

OP, I guess you're going to inoculate that bag with a spore syringe, right? If you do that, don't try to shake the bag after inoculation to distribute the spore solution (as you might have seen with other types of inoculants) because you want your spores to be near each other in the bag so that when they germinate the different strands of monokaryotic mycelium can find each other easily and mate.
MS syringe to grain bags is not the best idea at all for a number of reasons, but I hope everything turns out good for you.
