how to keep sub and casing moist.

I've done a lot of research still a noob I've made the whole process so far but my problems are keep the sub and casing moist and not drying out. I want to know how you guys keep yours at premium moisture content.my RH runs 89-98 my temp is from 72-78 I have moist perlite at the bottom of my sgfc I fan about 4 times a day and most the same do I need to up it up? Do I need to make a microclimate with anothers shoebox tub? My subs just dry so fast

I am new to but i mist until it glistens you will hear that alot and may have doubt in your judgement but i find its hard to over mist. Just dont let them drip. Hope that helps

I noticed this same problem with pf cakes, and sometimes you have to dunk them for 12-24 hours to get them hydrated if the cake looks dried out.

I use water. get a mister, spray the cakes, works perfect

Yeah I'm real timid when it comes to misting from contamination but I guess just being to easy with it appreciate it guys... TRI

use the right moisture content/field capacity

Misting doesn't cause contams, contams cause contams....
Fully colonized substrates are contam resistant, for the most part.
