Hello to all members, this is my first post,
about my story: I bought spore syringe from a local guy, I used it to inoculate 8 jars with 100% success. then the casing problem happened, the soil i used for casing was contaminated and destroyed all my first try, and I lost all of them, The guy i bought syringe from had told me i can suck some more water into the syringe as it is so dense. I added distilled water (bought a gallon from drug store) and after that none of my jars were good. I get no contamination. 0% . but hardly mycelium appears.
If by any chance any mycelium spot appears, it will appear after 2 weeks. I saw pictures in the internet were many guys got mycelium spots only after 2 days, this problem happended after i suck water up into syringes.
Next time I used a mushroom cap to make a syringe. I put in in top of a 20ml cup full of same distilled water from same gallon. it look very dense. but success rate is 0%. again i get no contamination in the jars. but no mycelium too.
I don't know if the problem is water, or the mushroom caps dropped no spores. although the water looked near black.
The other main problem I have is that I used agar plate(10% sucess rate) and I put live tissue into jars. after some successful inoculation . after a few days when I mixed the jars to break down mycelium. then they grow no more. they are all dead. suddenly after mixing the jar they all died. i put them in same condition as they were to see if any contamination appears. nothing. no mycelium. no contam.
I got 2 prints from a supplier, can I use distilled injection water. the water used for body injection to make syringes? or boil a bottled water?
Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks, Happy shrooming

Jars that don't recover after a shake are usually contaminated with bacteria.
I am having a bit of trouble understanding your post, what happened with the agar plates that you inoculated? did they get a milky looking growth?
