master jar went a little too long...

Hello all! I started some master jars a while back and ended up having to move. Long story short I neglected the jars and now one has mushroom growing in vitro. Now that I have some time and my equipment set back up. I figured now would be a good time to G2G my masters. My question is do yall think I can just use a x-acto knife or tweezers to remove the mushroom, then shake and G2G? Or just fruit it out of the jar and say o well? I have a flow hood and would of coarse sterilize what ever I used to remove the mushroom. Thanks!

You don't have to remove it, mushrooms are just dense mycelium and it will revert back to vegetative growth mode once it is knocked off. Pins won't rot either, if that is what you are afraid of.
By trying to fish the pin out you are risking contaminating the jar since you will not be in the best of positions to do so.

Nice bike in your sig OP. Is that the CBR400? I have an old one of those, 1988 model. Crashed it soon after I bought it, just my luck.

Motherfuckers, hope you were alright after that. I had the same thing happen to me, too much idiots in the roads. Went out on my break to get something to eat for everyone during a night shift. 5am, pitch black and this asshole in a black vw golf is going around the roundabout without any lights on. Didn't see him until it was too late. First I tried to brake but I realized I will still hit him so I twisted the gas to try and overtake him, bended to my left to get in front of him and hit a goddamn central strip. It was over pretty quickly after that, the bike literally spat me off and it went in head first into the roundabout. It looks like a tragedy now but I'm going to make it roadworthy enough to drive for now, walking sucks. Probably won't replace the fairing though, those are to expensive for a bike this old.
Anyway, I reckon that's enough off topic talk from me. Goodluck with your grow mate.
