For some reason miners have a higher tendency to kill themselves(whether intentional or not). Mining is a lot like gambling with a lot of investment and hard work. When it doesn't pay out like you hope, then depression sets it. I'm a miner and bipolar so I know the ups and downs of this business very well. I think the business attracts people who are bipolar types. It's also a very stressful and physically painful business that often times leads to severe drug and alcohol addiction.

This was the ZippoZ I remember, always with the good ideas or a plan. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/4155551#4155551
My first interaction was trying to get some business cards from him. He wasn't giving them out to just anybody and I was a noob.

He did mail me some 2 years later, guess I made the grade.
He will be sorely missed... . . .

I remember how amazing his "Domes" were at every camping experience I had with him. Running into him in his bathrobe and rocking out hacky sack for a bit of time and talking about the universe and life.
Towards his final days we were really talking a lot.
He always called me "His Spirit Animal" because we shared so many similar life views and our out going style was very coincided at times. Since I first met him with his bio diesel whip, camping near my house at a gathering, I knew I had met someone that would be like a brother to me. I even stayed an extra day just to camp with him and bs about anything and everything.
He was always plotting and always having people smiling. He carried the torch like a boss.
I wish I could've prevented this for longer than I did. There was a lot of late night talks and chats with him talking him off the edge in the last couple of weeks. I was hoping for a different outcome, and a lot of us were really worried.
His FB wall is immensely heart felt right now, and I don't go a day without seeing a new picture and a story. I wish I could've made it to his funeral, it wasn't far from me, but I can't leave the state right now
