if done differently, then yeah it can be. if done according to damion5050 it should be even more efficient than proper pasteurization in killing added trich.
so properly pasteurizing CVG to kill any possible trich that maybe added dont make sense to me.

put coir and verm in bucket, pour hot water in bucket. no need to pasteurize. you can swap "bucket" with "pot" if you like, it doesnt make no difference. I wouldn't burn cvg on the stove tho..
the only concern I would have with not pasteurizing would be possible trichoderma
...and yes, perhaps I should have specified to mix the coir, verm and gypsum after pasteurizing the coir.
oh so you pasturize coir , then mix the gypsum and verm after wards ?? ok thanks i was guna mix it all in and then boil it up. I do have a pc but didnt really want to fire it up for this.

Thanks for the feed back, Much appreciated.
Can someone give me a decent link to a simple bulk thread ? Im wondering about incubation times, temps , if it needs a lid with holes and filters ect.
do you kinda "samwhich " the mycelium in between coir so its not touching the bottom? or mix it all up right in the coir then case with verm ?
Also when you see the mycelium comming through the caseing layer on top does that mean its time to start fruiting ?
Thanks again for the help

Is it ok to use horticultural grade Dolomite lime instead of Hydrated lime ? I cant seem to find a clear answer. Some say its ok. some say no.

http://homeguides.sfgate.com/differences-between-hydrated-dolomite-lime-85354.html
They are not interchangeable. They are molecularly different.
Quote:
Dolomite Lime The most basic form of lime is a product known as "aglime." This is simply finely ground limestone that is bagged up and sold as a soil amendment. The composition of aglime varies according to the type of rock from which it is manufactured. When ordinary limestone is ground up, the resulting product is known as calcitic aglime because ordinary limestone supplies only calcium. Dolomite is a type of rock that is similar to limestone, but which also contains large quantities of magnesium. Ground up dolomite is known as dolomitic aglime, which supplies both calcium and magnesium. Hydrated Lime Both calcitic lime and dolomitic lime can be processed into hydrated lime, also known as slaked lime. Ground limestone is heated in an oven to produce burnt lime. Burnt lime is then mixed with water to produce hydrated lime, which is essentially calcium hydroxide. Hydrated lime is more concentrated than limestone and it neutralizes soil acidity more quickly, but it is also difficult to work with because it is somewhat caustic.

I just boiled the coir on the stove for about an hour at 100 degree C.
Problem solved. With little effort. I wasnt to into that whol bucket method. seemed lik alot of work when you could do a better job with higher consistant temps on the stove
