Hell, have the water tested first. Probably contaminated, but it could be the cleanest you ever tasted. Wonder if you could use it in a mycofiltration experiment.

I went to pick a little tiny white mushroom today, and pulled up a jaw bone... looked to be a fox jaw, and the mushroom was actually a tooth... bunch of teeth and bones scattered about, half a skull, etc... wasn't really picture worthy, but still kinda cool.

thats fucking dope! nice find. how deep in the woods was it?

Score on that find!

:super:

We have one hidden on our property... I still haven't seen it because the blackberries have been allowed to overtake the area.. for liability reasons, and because the county will want to fill it in if they found it... scares me when my car disappears into those bushes... supposedly its nearly 100 ft deep, hand dug, brick lined, probably looks similar to that one! About 90 years old or so, sometime around when the orchard here was planted.

is that where you well water comes from? i dont think youd fall into it. they usually have an above ground retaining wall.

This one does not have much of a rim, according to JAS its only a brick or 2 above ground, so very easy to trip and fall in... Jesus's son almost fell in when he was a kid.. he covered it with plywood and thats when they let the blackberries and poison oak take over.....

No, it is not where our well water comes from.... the well water in the building we live in now comes from another well via the nursery.... then we have the well at the top of the hill that is the water for our soon-to-be-someday house.

This property is riddled with springs, lots of water in the ground here... but most the new wells run nearly 200 ft down.

The hand dug well is what the windmill used to pump... by my garden... it stands right above the well.

I found a lens cap for my camera today. What's funny is I've lost about 3 of them in the woods over the years, finally got one back!

I gotta post this hilarious pic... I'll try and capture it tomorrow maybe. I found a three wheeler in the woods. Lol. It washed up out of a river. When things flood here you never know what you'll find washed up! :bathtub40lol:

I'm actually surprised I haven't seen one of those around my hunting grounds yet, for some reason it's a thing in my area for men to have sex with each other in the bush. Always loads of condoms, lube, even mattresses (yep) just dumped there. But no cock rings, yet.
