Here's that mutant PE tub right before harvest, I thought it was done yesterday but I gave it another day and it got a little crazier and fatter.

Dehydrator is completely stuffed.

Maybe it's the moisture content. Everything looks so dry. Those cakes are bruising from it (or it's because they are being man handled.)

They're not pretty, but certainly you can't say you're disappointed? Maybe clone it and pass it around. gnarly dicks.
There's not enough weird/unique strains, that must certainly not be environmental?

Tell me you cloned the ugliest one at least?

If I did it would be a clone of a clone.  This is just.. how that clone performs sadly.

Same thing here, just looks a LITTLE more reasonable from the jar.  Still derp as fuck.  So yeah my hunch is that wasn't environmental.  If anything that's what happens when you give something with screwy genetics a good environment.  It's a descendant of a certain PE strain abbreviated BC that has gone around, so it's had mutant tendencies from it's roots.

Time to harvest this cake today:

The cake beside it, with that big fatty, is still a littlw ways to go. hasnt opened it's cap all thst much yet. so it will be ready eitehr tonight or tomorrow. it's cap is pretty big, so it should give a pretty nice print =]

printing lots of these caps today in my SAB, without a glass/tub over them this time... and hopefully they will turn out good so i can do my giveaway. =]

Oh, and are you guys able to see that mutant on the bottom of the cake that is ready? it has grown really werid haha.. it started out without a cap at all, and just looked like a blob. then, it eventually formed a teeny, tiny, little cap, which eventually formed into what it is now haha.. it is so weird.. it's cap looks like a rock or something is stuck to it. ill take  better pic when i harest. might leave him on there sinxe his cap isnt/possibly cant open

MM. I think you are misting too much. Your caps look a little saturated.

yeah, i think you are right, actually. i did just mist right before the pic, but youre right i think i mist a little too much. not too often, i dont think, but a little too much quantity, when i do mist. i have been trying to cut back, especially when cakes start growing pins/fruits, but sometimes one or two of the cakes will still look like it isnt glistening, when i mist them all, so ill try to get that one a little more, but then end up just making one or two of the cakes have a little too much. so i think ill cut back, and if most look like the are perfectly glistening, and one or two still arent glistening, ill just leave it like it is, and then mist them all but closer to those on the next mist period. or something similar haha.

Thanks man!  It's MS Brazil. Just dropped my first isolate of the strain into a few jars yesterday so I'm stoked to see how it improves.

I like that you are using a clear plastic liner as well. I have been meaning to try clear liners for a while but keep forgetting.

Somewhat disappointed in this agar pin clone, The MS I did a while back performed better.

Heres my first grow you guys. Been in jar for 25 days now. Does it look ready to birth? More importantly does it look healthy?
Your response means alot :]

you shouldn't tip the jars on the sides or disturb your dry verm layer in any way. The dry verm layer is your filter from contams and by letting it move around you could easily let contams slip through to your cakes.

Since they do look 100% colonised you should be alright but never do that with uncolonised jars.

They do look healthy and probobly ready to birth as long as they have been colonised for a week.
