i was curious as to what known friendly fungi grow in and around the state of yucatan, and when. given the climate, i would assume that they growduring the cooler months, and after rainstorms, anyone wanna be a little more specific as to what i ought to look for, and when, given the opportunity?

Shroom season in Mexico is generally from mid-June through Aug- to mid-September.
The majority, 45 different species occur in oaxaca, Mexico al;l the way to Veracrus and into Guatemala.
Palenque gets some off season at various times of the year.
But then again, The primary seasson is sumemer to fall when the rains come.

That OTD will do it to ya. You get used to that 15 posts a minute thing. It's madness in there.
