I wouldn't stack em. I mean go for it and let us know how that yields forsur, but the cakes stacked on the top are likely to dry out quickly, as air is heavier when it is saturated to capacity with water, aka humidity, and humid air rises slightly from the perlite in eval, then falls out of the lower holes in your SGFC. Wouldn't the cakes stacked way up high not receive the same amount of humidity?
Totally a shot in the dark based off how dense humid air is..Someone correct me if this method is viable.

Humid air is lighter than dry air and rises.

Humid air rises. That is a fact. Stacking cakes is good too. All you need now is mist properly, and wait it out.

Research it

Edit: I'm gonna edit this a bit and also add that your understanding of a sgfc is clearly wrong.

it is dependent on ambient air temp!
Humid air will rise and fall depends on the temp, and I'm gona throw in a guess that his will be falling, bc he is likely at room temp 20C.. if he had it at like 25C it would rise and disaciociate with the air. Humid air will always fall at 20C.

Explain your lack of understanding of how the sgfc works

I like the idea OP.... Good call on the one tub thing... That amount of perlite is perfect for one tub... I really like the stacked cakes also... I look forward to an update.

A properly filled SGFC is always going to be several degrees warmer than the room it's in. The warmer air in the sgfc is ensuring a current forms which draws the cooler air in from the bottom. As it warms it rises and wicks the moisture off the perlite into the chamber.

I agree but maybe I'm not getting my point across, the humid air rises in the sgfc. Is this not correct

I apologize if I was not concise enough. I was speaking in terms of the conditions in the chamber.
