Pictures from Mt. Tamalpais
    #2316572 - 02/09/04 03:25 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Today I took a two hour drive to Mt. Tamalpais to see if maybe I could find some Ps. cyans. Unfortunately I found none, but I did find many other species and I took a few pics.

I was pretty high up the mountain and looking where there was a lot of twigs and plant debris on the ground.

These first two pictures show you what kind of habitat I was searching in.

Well, like I said earlier, I found no cyans but here are the pictures of what I did find.

Is it still possible to find cyans in the bay this late in the year?

Cool! I used to live in the Bay Area, and I miss Mt. Tam. It's good to see it again!

PS: Watch out for those Chupacabras! They're worse than the wild boar...
