Hey all you GA pickers.

What will be the optimal time this year to expect the fruitful weiliis?
Im thinking sometime around april, maybe march we will start seeing them poke their brown heads out for a look.

cant wait to see what this year brings.

Looking forward to it myself, maybe LizardKing will chime in.  I am rather new at looking for them, but judging by last season we could use some mild winds.

It all depends on temperatures and rainfall really. If we're seeing temps in the mid to high 60s and decent rainfall by the end of March, they should start popping up then.

We'll have to see what the great LK says. I talked to him last week on the phone and he's still in the process of moving, so he won't be on the net for a while. I'd think we should expect him within the next month.

I'm looking forward to morel season myself, should be somewhere around the begining of April.
