Books cost too much nowadays. And T.Vs are cheaper than ever. No wonder society is going down the shitter.

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

If ya'll don't have the Handbook to Higher Consciousness by Ken Keyes Jr., you all must go out and fucking buy it right now!

And now, to offer a testimonial, a man selected by random, Kaiowas! *waits for him to show up*

Seriously, though, the book rules. Definitely worth a read and trying out.
Peace.

Seriously though, those are some fine books.  I have quite a few of them myself.  But it was my interest and pursuit of philosophy and logic that helped me to attain the clarity I have.  (However much that is)

Cheers,

hehe, touche. I havn't finished that one (it was only a 2 week loan from the library) but what I actually got to read was fantastic.

These are my essentials:

A Language Older Than Words- Derrick Jensen
The Culture of Make Believe- Derrick Jensen
The Doors of Perception- Aldous Huxley
Walden- Henry David Thoreau

...And the Truth Shall Set You Free... [Re: Scolecite]
    #2731230 - 05/26/04 06:40 AM (19 years, 10 months ago)

i am about 100 pages into this book and am finding it real hard to swallow. its not the content really but the repitition, the detail, the use of the word "claptrap", i mean, really!
and i am so like wondering...: what is your point actually?
so take care of the secret societies and their control of events that shape our destiny and what will we be left with..? er, like even more of or at least the same amount of pain and suffering anyway...? okay, cool, what would be the difference...?
i would really appreciate someone encouraging me to continue reading this... i actually got it as packing for a trip this weekend, give my brain a little something to think about/ play with, but now i am regretting it!

Fortune is great! and Redfield has some revolutionary concepts. I wish everyone would read him.

No Scott Cunningham or Raymond Buckland?

They're good too.
