I would recommend you fruit them as cakes in a sgfc. thats what cakes do best.
the blob is just your first mushroom fruits starting to grow. thats always a signal its time to birth. better do it soon or you won't be able to get them out!

Thanks, should I still dunk and roll them before putting them in the FC? Or is it too late for that?

I don't have one pot to put them all in. Was going to do the dunk and roll. I was going to but half in a pot and the other half inside of the crockpot Ceramic pot I do not plan on turning it on lol, just working with what I got. Ok so if I were to dunk and roll tonight ,fill up the pots with water put the cakes in and put a plate on top of them do make them sink ,is this correct ? Would it be ok to take the cakes out tomorrow afternoon run them under water and roll them in dry vermiculite and directly into the SGFC with 3-4 inches of damp perlite? So stoked ! Hope I don't loose that blob. Thanks for the help kind sir.

You can also dunk them in Tupperware type containers like this, put the container in the sink fill it full, after the lid is on the cake is fully submerged

My SGFC is too big in my opinion got the wrong size. It is 34 inches in length 18 inches wide and 12 inches tall is that too big for 6 cakes is it going to loose humidity it could be getting in a smaller SGFC?

Nah you're fine. It doesn't matter how many cakes you have in a SGFC. It will work properly as long as the perlite is wet and not too compact.

Use foil at the bottom of your cakes, not the lids from your jars.
Good luck with further results!!

Hard for me to say, I suck at Id'ing contams especially on my phone could just be some wispy myc, not sure. Is there 1/4" holes in your chamber 2" apart in a grid pattern on all six sides including the lid and bottom and elivated off the surface it's sitting on? If not you need to construct a proper SGFC
Low FAE environments favor molds.

Ok so use foil instead of the caps. Should I do that now or next flush? How should I handle the cakes to put on the foil? ( wAsh hands and wear gloves cleaned with rubbing alcohol ? I have jar lids under the SGFC and it has holes on all 6 sides, etc. how many times a day should I be misting? I have been misting like 3 times a day . I have pinnings and the large blob that I first noticed is changing color it looks more like a cap now . It is more yellowish orange and it has grown larger since dunked and rolled and placed in the SGFC. How can I tell if the perlite is still damp ? There is condensation on the sides but I think that's from me misting. I properly soaked the perlite and cleaned it to make it damp and wet. Thanks everyone

You can just pick the cakes up with bare hands. Wash em first sure but no need for gloves really. Just be gentle. Most when they look dry, not on a schedule. Put a finger in the perlite to see if it is still damp.

Day 6 in fruiting chamber, the white mycelium looks like it is sticking out out of the cakes like spikes or pins. Looks weird. My blob is just bluish brown and is not growing.

Spend the money and buy a thermometer and hygrometer combo. Cheap and effective. Make sure you are following the TEK for the SGFC as air exchange is key in fruiting.

Should I throw the cakes out? Are they bad? I do not want bacteria growing in my house for health reasons. I have three two pound bags of rye. Would it be a better idea to just fruit in the bag in two weeks? If fruiting in the bag should I cut open the bag as soon as I see pins to allow air flow and close it back with a paper clip?
