Thanks TEG, I've been really liking how these jars have been going. I've been getting nice long stipes from them. I've been trying out varieties and so far the AA+ is looking like one I could focus my attention on in the future. Very spooky, I like em.

They are definitely one of the best looking varieties. I wish there was a leucistic or albino PE variety that actually had the shape and fruiting behaviors of the classic PE.

Flush 2, I'm not even sure if I soaked this after flush 1, anything that's produced I'm happy with at this point

You are never going to get those cakes out of those jars...

He could top fruit them tho. However I doubt they finish colonized before they stall. That is asking a lot of the colony.

Yeah that's a pint jar even if it does colonised it will take like 2 months minimum , if you really want to do pint cakes use wide mouth pints or use less substrate in the non wide mouths and break it up with a spoon and spawn to a tub. Also you should establish aggressive myc on a Petri dish and make an LC or an LI.

Turn down your photo size on your camera or resize before posting. Those are some huge picture for just a few jars haha.

It's called uploading to the site.  Definitely don't edit picture size, last thing we need is people posting tiny thumbnails in here.

600x800 is more than enough to get your point across. Those pictures are monsters size wise. I mean do what you want its your space on here but makes the board not look as nice. Just my two cents.

Seriously?  I rather like looking at pictures of decent quality by expanding them from the thumbnail.

Oh whoops sorry that's too big for you, lemme make it so you can't zoom.

Then I guess my question is why are his pictures not zoomed in on the thread. I'm fine with making pictures bigger but those pics take up almost an entire page.

I think he was like importing from photo bucket. Now I see what he was doing. Makes the board look like shit.

My first oats prep.  Actually my first non-wbs prep.

Might have let them go a *little* too long, there are a fair number of burst grains, but overall it doesn't seem too bad.

swervin, check out the url of the pics, they are hosted on photobucket not the shroomery. This is what inoc is saying about uploading to the site. Pics uploaded to the shroomery automatically are given a thumbnail so a big pic is nice because it lets you zoom in.

So are you saying at some later point those pictures will shrink down to become thumb nails I can click on them? If so I obviously don't know how this site works but seems very weird to me. Never seen any other pictures like that on the board. But what do I know.

No, if you upload them to the site, and link them by copying the link on your pics page, they will be thumbnailed correctly no matter how big the original source image is.  Go to your pics page, and click the upload link near the top left

Really? Like every pic on this site is like that, except links to other sites.
