I would transfer some of the mycelium to more plates, that mycelium is too disorganized.
You're isolating for healthy uniform growth at this stage.

Thanks a lot that's what I've done. Should I try multiple plates at the same time from this?

Mustacheman- I wanted to comment yesterday but got a bit sidetracked.
The problem with lc is that it's incredibly difficult to identify contamination, the best bet is to transfer to agar and check how clean the culture is.

Got it, will try Agar, thinking of cleaning things up in general by not shortcutting the agar to LC from syringe... do people ever culture Agar with antibiotics to insure clean plates (side question, obviously defeats the purpose here)

On second agar transfer and already looking better (4.5 days elapsed) but are those two or three lite greyer dots outside of the main white mycellium a sign of sporophore contam and thus best to make next transfer ASAP rather than letting this develop further before next transfer? Hope photos OK.

Yep, probably mold. Difficult to tell until it sporulates, but you'd wanna do transfers before that.

Thanks a lot. I'll transfer to fresh agar tomorrow. Any advice on which section to slice from? Just where I see uniform thick ropes right? It's looking a lot better overall. Quitw enjoy the process actually.

The one where your thumb is in the second picture and the sector opposite look like they're growing great and far enough from contams to be good sectors.

Hi everyone !

Can some expert can give me their opinions ?

I have decide to grow kits on first before to do grains.

In one of my kits the mushroom doesn't grow very much and there are like a white fuzz on the caps it is contamination ?
I have misted them a lot so maybe it is over misting ?

I know that mushroom can grow smaller if there is contam so i wonder if yes...

Smell is earthy, doesn't smell bad

Can someone can help me to know how i can improve myself
please ?

The white dots is some leftover mycelium from birth, nothing to worry.
But they don`t like heavy misting, especially no sitting water on their caps.
As pins move in you should cut down misting.

What happened here? It was going well with a completely opaque circle of myc, and then it gradually started to fade away. Ignore the transfers I cut out of it earlier.

Looks very odd

I've got some odd growth myself, I think it's because I squirted my LC very unevenly all over the plate, because it doesn't look like there's two different things growing here, it's just growing odd. Pink oyster btw:

Hi! Its my first time here

i have been trying now the third time.. and i always get these greyish parts. i cant remember which spores i have.. maybe golden teacher.

what you can see in the picture started out white and then turned grey over night

second picture is from the bottom

is this mold? if yes.. should i wait and see if the mycelium wins the fight?

That's definitely mold in the first picture, if it's happening every time you start a new jar and the mold is the exact same, it's likely a problem with your syringe. Also make sure your sterile procedure is good (flaming needle, wiping down injection port, not breathing on jar while injecting, etc.)
