Ive had multiple syringes create clean looking myc on agar but always go bad or just never fruit. As if the myc was enmeshed with mold. Happened with 3 different varities. Swapped to prints and had no issues. Syringes seem to be only good for pf tek. Spore prints for agar.
Im now highly skeptical of anything started from syringes.

Agreed, I don't have much luck with syringes. I prefer a print. Syringes are best for pftek and pucks.

When you say dirty syringe what exactly do you mean?
Previously used?
I’m confused because when you say you like prints, don’t people usually use a syringe to inject their prints?
Are you saying you in a SAB just put the print directly in prior to sealing? Sorry trying to learn.

All spore syringes are dirty. Even new ones. They need to be grown on agar to separate the good stuff from bad stuff. Then put the good stuff on grains.
Syringes are made from spore prints.
In a sab, you put a drop of spore solution on an agar plate and take good parts to new plates til you have something clean.

Not necessarily dirty syringes. Syringes that seem clean. My hypothosis is that even the tiniest bit of mold gets into it and is homogenously dispersed through the solution. Making it impossible to get completely clean myc from that point on, even with agar. Hence it being ok for pf tek but no good if youre wanting to go to bulk.

All the effort to assure clean spawn came before this. Nothing can be done at this point. Keep ideal surface conditions and hope for the best.

Define constant misting. A proper set up shouldn’t require more than once a day.
Fixing the subject title back to the original.

90% likely it’s unclean spawn. Either inoculated with a plate that had mold on it or improper sterile technique during inoculation or improperly prepared grain.
You’ll need to scrutinize your process to discover what it is, but it’s almost definitely your spawn
