I don´t really know what you mean by “pop the plastic off the side of the mycelium…”

Care to elaborate a bit?

Whatever do you mean?

I successfully control cobweb all the time with salt and H2O2.

It's usually only an issue when I run out of lysol for spraying the walls of my SAB, though.

They mean to move your sub away from the side of the "plastic" tub. It took me a second to understand too because I was tripping at the time I read that.

Hello everyone, this is my first post, not sure I can do this... But could you help me identify this contamination? Fuzzy yellow spot with some bright spheres https://imgur.com/a/yqeXJfR.

Go to the top of the page, where all the links for your profile are, and  click "pics." Use that link to upload whatever files you want to post. Once they're uploaded to your profile, you can copy the url that appears below each picture and paste it into a post as text. When you preview your post, you'll be able to see whether it worked.

@growin - welcome to shroomery,
There is a option to upload photos on shroomery so we don’t have to click external links to help you out bro.

But that looks like some sort of mold in your pic
You can see the better looking white mycelium growth looks totally different.
No real need to identify which type of contamination there’s a ton that look identical bro
Hope this helped

Can you take some pictures with white lighting and focus on the surface of the substrate?  The last pic looks like theres a trich spot getting started in the darker area.

Looks like lion's mane, starved for oxygen.  Are you growing that too?

Very thin, white hairs. It’s popped up in about 4 tubs. Any ideas?

I think I’m seeing them but I could be looking at coco hairs .
I’m looking pretty much right in the middle of the pic but that’s cobweb or some kinda trich give it a few and it will start making lil balls on the hair
Sorry bro toss em and pray it don’t happen to the rest of your tubs

No biggie! I knew I’d lose a lot of these tubs. Maybe even most of them. It looks like coco hairs, but thinner and almost clear. Definitely contam, was just curious what it was. Looks like I get to practice my dumpster tek more today lol.
