This is my second LC, made with LME and an agar slice about 14 days ago. I followed Blue Helix' advice and kept the stirrer on 24/7 on the lowest possible speed.
Last week I pulled up some liquid through the SHIP and injected BRF jars (covered by foil, secured by autoclave tape). This was done outside the SAB. I wiped down the foil and SHIP with bleach and used a new sterile needle.
The jar has been in the fridge for a week, and I notice that it is not clear anymore. Could this be due to contams introduced from the syringe? I was about to noc up some grain, but not sure if I should toss it instead.

I've got a shoebox with some very deformed pins and blobs. Any idea if this is due to contam? Process: clone -> agar -> LC -> rye.

The myc from this clone grew very fast in the jar, but had a naked spot for like a week and some blue fluff on top:

Thanks! This is my third round of B+ on rye, but first grow from clone. I cloned this one
since they were bigger than any of my other strains. Stipe is deformed and wrinkly, but it's solid and potency is good.
I have 3 more grain jars with the same LC, so far they look good.
Edit: I ran out of coir so the top layer is only 5mm or so after tamping. Dunno if that's relevant here.

I harvested the mature fruits 6 days later. Giving the slower ones a day or two to grow out:

There are some ugly looking black blobs in there. Is there any point in soaking this for a second flush?

Cheers, will do. I cut the blobs off too, making tea as we speak.

Unmodified lids? Here's a tip: use a screwdriver or something similar and pry it in between the lid and jar. Bend up or down, depending on your lid and jar geometry. The aim is to deform the lid slightly so that pressure can equalize.
