Looks sus but usually all germ plates look sus. You can take a transfer from the leading edge now Or give it a few more days to grow out . I’ve noticed if I let germ plates sit for awhile they either throw some ryzo growth or start pinning

@growin - welcome to shroomery, There is a option to upload photos on shroomery so we don’t have to click external links to help you out bro.
But that looks like some sort of mold in your pic You can see the better looking white mycelium growth looks totally different. No real need to identify which type of contamination there’s a ton that look identical bro Hope this helped

Sozo tough to say man.but looking at the last pic it most likely is something unwanted riding along Could be why your seeing such thick ropes that myc trying to hurry the fuck away
I would make transfers from the leading edge of the ropes in hopes you leave the tomentose shit behind .
After transfe throw it to some grain and see what it does for experimental purposes. If u want

No But watch for it to turn green or get overly wet, usually mold will feel warmer than mycelium if thats all mold your tub should be cooking bro

No dont play with the mold. Or any chemicals Leave it be . Pick them now or grow them a few more days . U can make a tea with your finished product if mold scares u . Or dry them cracker consistency
