-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

Only in certain narrow definitions. collectivism is the idea that a central power may, for the benefit (real or otherwise) of the community as a whole, violate certain members of that community. it is the theory that an individual doesn't have the highest claim on his own life, but that other people, acting through the state, do. i find that to be authoritarian. all forms of enforced collectivism are authoritarian. individual rights are violated in such a system. any system in which a peaceful person comes subject to force is authoritarian to some degree. involuntary collectivism makes a routine out of doing this to extremity. what rights are recognized under collectivist systems?

I'm hardly as "NeoCon", but I certainly don't believe Anarchy is a viable political system. Why? Because it usually deteriorates into a few dictictorial "warlords" controlling most of the resources by force of arms. Anarchy has never worked on a large scale, and it never will.

I think the idea of anarchy is a cute idea from rather ignorant people.
If it were possible to have anarchy and order I'd be all for it. Unfortunatly that would be an oxymoron.
