Stink one, I love walking/hunting in the rain. I f=go raid those public spots hard, no one wants to be out in the rain. I carry them in this small potato sack I made into a satchel bag, it breathes really well and if there is excess water on them they dry out while I walk.

Brilliant finds Blazer Very cool hideaway sub. A lesser hunter probably have missed it.
I prefer hunting in the rain too. Something peaceful and serene about it. Can't beat full gumbi mode.

Haha yeah, crappy days are definitely good for more public spots. Thankfully the rain eased a bit! Way too dark now though so I've had to give up for the day. The area I wanted to check was indeed prime conditions, but it's all been freshly wood chipped in the last few weeks and the lack of light didn't help, owell. Did find my first stinkhorn though, my goodness does it stink!

Here's a sub growing off a twig (or a piece of flax?). 
Hamilton weather has been pretty damn rubbish for mushroom season, are there any reputable Hamiltonians hunting this year?
