First season finds
All of them bruise blue 
Heres a couple photos I took of the ones I left behind
I took one that looked as if an insect had been consuming it (pic below), safe to eat?
What level trip should a beginner start with? I was thinking level 2 would be a safe place to start

Hey mate, nice little find there. The bunch in the greenery will be pumping with some rain I bet. I don't know about those levels personally. We all have different tolerances... Having them fresh you need alot less then you would dry. 10 would be a good buzz for you, boiling them you for a tea that is. The ones bugs are eating like that are fine to man, once they get yuck and old, smiley and shit then they are better off left...

Have you had them many times? What are they like in strength compared to the subs do you know?

I rate libs higher from personal experience. Ive had them a half dozen times. The dose I had of these latest ones was amazing. Had a lowish dose but it had amazing effects. I find they give me alot of energy and keep me well awake.

I really hope more people go hunt liberty caps and post their finds  I think they are pretty damn awesome.
@Awakening Ive read that online also. But its completely false. I've found them at sea level before.

100% agree. I may have nostalgia goggles as they were my first couple of trips. But they were amazing, such a clean buzz with immensely good feels. Plus my old patch of them down south was immense, just a huge field brimming with the beauts

Hey guys I'm new to the NZ forum and this is my first season picking here after moving over from Melbourne. Went out in Taupo this morning and found a few.These were the only photogenic ones as it has been dry here and the rest of the haul had been sunburned:)
