Mr. Bill & Zebbler Encanti Experience - $ATTN
-------------------- "I have no way of knowing whether you, who eventually will read this record, like stories or not. If you do not, no doubt you have turned these pages without attention. I confess that I love them. Indeed, it often seems to me that of all the good things in the world, the only ones humanity can claim for itself are stories and music; the rest, mercy, beauty, sleep, clean water and hot food (as the Ascian would have said) are all the work of the Increate. Thus, stories are small things indeed in the scheme of the universe, but it is hard not to love best what is our own—hard for me, at least."

Hi guys. I normally don't bother posting whole mixes because I figure people generally don't listen to them, but this one is really great and I reckon that someone might like it a lot. It's from producer/dj/head honcho at Marine Parade records Adam Freeland, and is described as "an ode to Carl Sagan". It's from March 2014, and is sufficiently bassy, but doesn't begin to sound like derbstep and/or trap (which is, frankly, refreshing in these present times). I'd describe the tracks as that deep-yet-groovy brand of "nu-breaks", with a lot of it sounding like modern versions of those funky acid breaks tunes that were popular in the mid 1990s. It's intelligent but danceable, and thoroughly spacey. Highly recommended, and I hope you enjoy!

adam freeland fell off the map for me when he joined a band. but i loved "tectonics" era nu skool breaks. i caught him dj during that period and it was absolute madness. i'll give that mix a whirl.

I don't normally listen to them, but you've sold it pretty well and I generally respect your taste in music.
It's off to a good start.

YYVVESS : Computer Sunrise 2002(an EP released 2016)
This one is really short and fun, with something enjoyable in it for everyone. A lot is fit into the just over twenty minutes, but it felt like I had been listening to it longer, and I definitely didn't want it to stop so soon. It is everything I want in a new electronic EP

@Burke: Mix was really good.
@California: Enjoyed that one as well. I did think the song that started at ~7:00 was going to build into something crazy, but it never happened. Rest of the album was awesome though.
