good call daba.

broiled or barbiqued salmon with aspagarus and/or broccoli:

ingredients and equiptment:

an oven with a proiler or a barbique grill.

aluminum foil.

enough fillets or steaks of salmon [concrete suggests king] for each dinner guest.

two tablespoons of butter for each fillet or steak.

juice of one lemmon.

orrange zest [optional].

pinch of dill for each fillet of steak.

1/4 lb each of broccoli and asparagus spears for each steak or fillet, or 1/2lb of either.

pepper.

prperation:

preheat broiler or barbique grill.

saute asparagus and/or broccoli in sauce pan with one tablespoon butter and half a cup of water per 1/2 lb, turning over occasionaly untill slightly tender.

lightly pepper the top and underside of salmon fillets or steaks.

place salmon, one each, on the center of foil sheets about as wide and long on either side as the salmon.

apply pinch of dill.

layer asparagus and/or proccoli over the top of the salmon.

apply orrange zest and lemmon juice over the top of this.

add butter to the top.

fold foil over from two opposing sides then from the other two, fold/crimp so that they are sealed into packets.

briol or barbique for 30-45 min or untill you are satisfied that the salmon is well cooked.

remove packets onto a heat safe surface and transfer with a spatula or in some other way to keep them intact as one solid piece with the vegatables remaining on top to plates or a platter.

serve to hungry diners and/or eat.

[note: if you are concerned about saturated fat, you can supplement butter with margerine]

if you do not want to spring for salmon verry often or don't live in an area where it is available by the means nature intended you can ommit the salmon entre and prepare saabove but with 1/4 the butter and use salmon flakes [like baccon bits but made of salmon] for that wonderful flavor.

Salmon is the key to tasty health. I also like Chilean Seabass, it's a delicious fish. It can be hard to get sometimes, though.

Soybeans are also my favorite healthy snack. I buy bags of them frozen and pealed, boil them in water, then add some seasoned salt on top and eat them with a fork. Yum!

Damn, I wish I had read this thread sooner...

Ive been making smoothies like mad.
Exactly the way you described cept for one glass at a time, 1bananna, a few ounces of fat free plain yogurt and a handfull of frozen mixed fruit.

I dont use milk though Instead I use juice. Frozen concentrate only costs a buck per gallon and having a smoothie or two every day can get expensive.

As for nourishing foods that taste good..

#1 answer is Cold Fruit...
