Fruiting question..
    #2306393 - 02/05/04 06:56 PM (20 years, 1 month ago)

Anyways i have a jar where the top 2/3 is colonized and the bottom isnt, long story short its stalled. Would i be ok to just make a mini casing of this and maybe toss some wet verm on top of the jar and fruit directly out of the jar instead of risking taking it outa the jar.. thats what im thinking, lemme kno what you say guys

turn the jar upside down and whack it to make a small gap between the bottom of the jar and the substrate. Then set it at an angle. THis will exchange the gases and hopefully continue growth.

Well i went ahead and gave it a shot and its working great. Its a half pinter btw. I just put some vermiculite on the top, wet it down and put it in my incubator, today i saw a few little puffs of mycelium coming through! Beautiful!
