Philosophical evidence that God Probably does not exist.

(a) (Probably) if God were to exist, there would be few non-believers. (b) There are MANY non believers (c) (Probably) Therefore, God does not exist. The mystery is probably solved. Close enough for the girls I go with

Many people still don't believe in evolution, despite an overwhelming body of evidence supporting it.

Does the existance of God entail the same things as the validity of evolution. Substitute Evolution and God in premise A. Not the same thing.

"(a) (Probably) if God were to exist, there would be few non-believers. (b) There are MANY non believers (c) (Probably) Therefore, God does not exist." -------------------------------
Why?.. Is the question that pops into my head.
Especially, for point (b).
Solve that answer, and you may perceive (a) and (c) in a different light.

There aren't enough syllables for this to be philosophical evidence. You'll have to re-word it.
-------------------- To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.' Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence. Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains. Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

Evolving, by GOD, you are right!!! Premise A is the most important, so I will reword it.
(a) For one to entertainamalize grand notions such as ontological arguementationalist-esque existamafundory of the quintessential omnipotent being, one must deduce that the numeralation of non believers convergilizes to an infetessimally acute point.

Whoa.
Ummmmmm....
Could it be, then, that point (b) happens cause not many are capable [or even interested] of grasping overly-complex language [somewhat typical when some descriptions are delivered]?

Interesting point, I wonder why religious (and philosophical) texts insist on being so damn dense and obtuse!

Phluck already covered it in this thread: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...amp;o=&vc=1 "The point I was trying to make, was about obfuscation. Often, people will use complex and confusing language, and others will assume that the person knows what they're talking about. They'll even trust any conclusions that the person has made, after all, they're smarter, and they must know what they're talking about."

This is just hearsay, but I remember hearing something about how church officials were upset when the bible was translated into vernacular language (not sure which one) because then people didn't rely on church officials to get the word of GOD.
