A friend of mine innoculated 4 1/2 pint jars of whole grain rice with the B+ strain and they are almost fully colonized, about 2 days left. He started these jars June 20 so that would make about 15 days. Assuming casing goes as planned, he should have shrooms in after 2 1/2 weeks. I guess that whole process adds up to a little over a month of waiting. If you are lucky you will be able to get a first flush using casing. Not sure how long if you are using straight cakes.

Well I didn't start earlier because I'm a lazy ass. Plus I'm still living in my parents house so I have to wait untill it is a good time to work on it when I won't get caught.
