XP, EZCD-6, mp3's.

Has anybody else had this problem?

Burnt a mp3 CD using XP and EZCD-6. CD when played exhibited snap, crackle, pop, hiss, skips and more.

Tried the same files on my spare comp with XP and EZCD-6. Same files, same problem.

I then re-formatted the drive on my spare to remove XP. Installed 98se and EZCD-5. Crystal clear sound using the same files.

In the far off reaches of my mind I seem to recall reading Microsoft did something to XP to cause this. Can anyone shed some light on this?
