Reiki & Chakras

I know a little about each thing separately, but how do they work together?
Reiki is about flowing energy, finding those blockages and getting them moving...are Reiki practitioners well versed in Chakra knowledge? Do the two practices automatically go hand in hand, or are some people just trained strictly in Reiki only and other are trained in Chakra healing only? I feel like the two things are so complimentary to each other that any respected Reiki master should have a deep knowledge of chakra centers as well.
I did a reiki healing session once that was pretty transformational. I know know why or how or what happened, but I could only describe it as a little bit magical. The lady who led the session didn't even mention chakras. This was probably more then 10 years ago. Since then I have been on my own path and Reiki is definitely not a huge part of it, although I do look back on that one experience with love and gratitude.
I read somewhere that Chakra blockages should be treated with compassion and care. A stubborn blockage being forced to 'flow' could cause major emotional upheaval. That blockage might be a carefully constructed safety strategy from a past trauma, memory, experience.
Are there any Reiki masters out there in Shroomery land? Chakra pros? How do you know when things should be left alone, or gently coaxed? Are the two practices as complimentary as I'm assuming them to be?

From some of my research and own inner guidance and intuition I feel that we are all both the Masters and Students/Gurus And Disciples of our own reality with the ability to attain knowledge, wisdom and healing from outside sources as well as within our own selves. The reason why Reiki is so widely accepted in this time more then other "magickal acts" is because there is no dogma and anyone from any belief, religion, race, and gender can experience its benefits just like with meditation.
The chakras I think are just illustrations for the energies of the body to give one something to be able to reference. The color I feel is for visualization, but the energies do exist especially to those who feel and or believe they feel them and energy in general. You could call them chakra's others would call them energy centers, some would call it indigestion or a headache or pain in their lower back for no reason(popular one). Its your preference; what works for you and where you are at in your own personal development IMO.
Hope that helps.

EDIT: In conclusion. Yes they are supplementary lol
