Colors of The Psychedelic Experience

I think colors are some of the most amazing things that is uploaded from 3dimensions into your stream of awareness.
Basically, colors are like music to my eyes and the effects Tryptamines have on colors is quite amazing; that is if thinking about shit like that is cool to you.
I think color to have complexity similar to music a row of three different colored boxes is less complex in form than an Alex Gray painting
However through then lens of acid those three simple colored boxes will resonate more vividly The blue box will contain many shades of blue at once or seemingly in rapid fire succession strobe and shifting effects of blending And this is just for the color blue and the same for the red and green theoretical boxes
So to look at an Alex Grey, or another complex work of color and intricacy The signals of every bit of complexity you are aware of will persist longer in the mind, and literally make it WAAAY more intense.
More information=The illusion of even more information This is important, because I think it may be possible to make psychedelic specific illusions. Effects that defy reality BECAUSE of the stacking of signals
A small though that relates to this is since the occurence of fading, persisting and stacking brain signals is objective, can we interact with this objective at near objective levels? A piece of art that always moves in a particular rhythm perhaps?
Be alerted of the many "I think" clauses...I don't REALLY study any of this at a college level, but I do think I'm a cat sometimes.
I think color is subjective due to the way light is processed and addition to how light acts at quantum levels; talking about colors is always a wild adventure for me because aside from the fact you can think of any color as having a correlation in nature colors can evoke much more than that in people.
I think psychedelic color experience is amazing because you are essentially relating to "Blue Squared" or "green cubed"(where the exponent is a metaphor for the amount of chemical taken/signals faded) they exist mathematically due to the extra effort of the chemical however it follows the same laws of thought association as anything else so you are essentially working with something real even if it only exists on paper. This infuses the subjective experience with something less common compared to an everyday look at the blue sky.
Watching the spectrum of colors in light halos are amazing simply because it is a brain function and not an eye function that is the cause I'm not a light artist, but what the hell could you do with that?
Anyway, thinking is a hell of a drug.
I have Associative Recall Me Back! names!

This was my exact revelation on my first mushroom trip...

Anyone ever have an object be black and white and an object next to it be in vivid color?
That one gets me...how would an object lose color?
Perhaps if the information of color has seceded in your mind, yet you continue to gaze at said object?

Word man colors are the fucking bomb... The most crappily compressed jpeg's will look soooo rich...
And to the other dude who talked about black and white vs color... Ive had times where parts of images looked black and white and the rest of the colors on the images POPPED with color... Then when i was sober it was just dull colors with a little less dull colors surrounding it...
Also i dont know if anyone else has this with mushrooms... When im watching tv, or im looking outside... Or basically any time i do this while tripping when there is a light source or vivid imagery in front of me... and i close my eyes really fast, its almost as if me shutting my eyes kills one sense and boosts my third eye or whatever... and i still see the picture in my mind as vivid as when i had my eyes open, but it fades after about 5 seconds
so let me recap for people who dont want to read that, or didnt understand....
Look at something vivid and bright like a tv while your tripping, quickly shut your eyes, your third eye/brain/whatever is so powerful right now that you can still picture the tv in your mind like a CEV for a few seconds before it fades

As soon as I woke up especially after dreaming balls I looked at my red LED alarm clock and quickly shut my eyes
The time displayed persisted in my mind as a clear reminder I had to get up to go to work eyes wide shut or open or some shit like that.
If dreams follow similar psychedelic rules...then...?

You want to see some awesome colors tripping. Watch Planet Earth in HD while tripping and you will see the most vivid and amazing colors of your life. There are times when i am tripping and watching it, and all I will see are colors. I can't even make out whats on the tv. Just the most amazing rich colors that I've ever seen. I love watching that shit.
I love the colors that I get with CEVs. I once seen wall being my eyelids full of tentacles all pulsating different neon colors. I could feel it when the colors would pulsate it was nuts. Colors is one of the best things about tripping. I guess that is why I like LSD a little bitter. I get better colors that way. I like it when the whole room will slowly change colors. Awesome man.

CEVS are definitely a place most colors hide! I'm trying to catch em' all I guess that may be a reason why I paint;-)? Kaleidescope is an accurate term However that label it does not do it justice When there is form, rhythm and investment involved Mored like divine-o-scope for me

I fucking love mushrooms, ever since my first trip, I see everything differently. When I stare at stuff, I imagine it in vivid color, and the object breathing, and then just smile. When I trip the color green really seems to be extravagant, my whole body feels amazing (like you just smoked an ounce of kush)...can't even describe that shit...
colors ftw.

Colors are one of the great parts to the visual experience, possibly greater than the visuals themselves. On each substance I get different colors which is interesting for me, so I made a separate thread about it. I believe colors bring out the artistic side of a person that lasts long after the experience is over.

Once the trip gets intense enough, it's hard to tell the difference between red, green, and blue. Also there are all these flashing letters in my CEV that are simultaneously red and blue.

Psychedelics and color to hand in hand.
I was recently at a party and an artist that I love had some stuff on display. He had this big mandala that was black and white with faces and skulls and flowers and all this stuff, very trippy. It also had this small LED light pointed at the painting to you could see it in the dark of the forest. But the light changed from one color to another slowly, it went through all the colors.
I looked at it for a while sober, just appreciating it. But later when I was on a couple hits of acid, the color change made the whole picture come alive. Full on movement and motion of the shapes and figures. The color would change from red to blue but some parts of the painting would retain there redness.
I was thoroughly blown away. I have a few of his mandalas on print and stare at them all the time, especially while Trippin, but I never knew about this little trick that made these paintings worth more than gold to me.
