Yep. Fuel pellets was good for me

I found it wasn't as quick as the lucidum so bags would be better than spawning IMO. It is also the slowest fruiting thing I have ever tried but cool. I got some plated and am gonna giver another go soon. Have fun man

Mine grew antlers in the bag without cutting holes. When the antlers were like 3-4 inches long I wanted them to conk, so I trimmed the top of the bag away and they aborted, so don't do that. If you want a combination of antlers and conks from a bag let the antlers get to the filter patch and grow through it, it will conk on the other side. I did this with lucidum and opened the bags like twice to harvest antlers before letting them conk through the filter. Should work for the black reishi.

Speaking of reishi, I harvested this one after what felt like two months.  Dropped it's own weight in spores. (Saintburgers's sidewalk clone)

Yeah, that's one of the things with reishi. The conks probably produce more spores than oysters. So, be mindful of that if growing indoors near living space.

My friend who has a PhD and has always specialized in radiation studies tells me that mushrooms are the largest consumer of radiation in nature, all wild mushrooms have radioactive isotopes.

I still totally want to try wild azures so badly
