Israel blasts Iran's new cash-for-terrorists scheme aimed at rewarding families of 'martyrs'

Quote:

Iran’s new cash-incentive plan for “martyrs” who strike in Jerusalem is proof the Islamic Republic intends to spend billions reaped in the recent nuclear deal on terrorism, Israeli officials told FoxNews.com Thursday.

Already identified as the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism, Iran will now pay the equivalent of $7,000 "to every family of a martyr of the intifada in Jerusalem,” Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon said Wednesday at a news conference in Beirut. What’s more, Tehran will pay $30,000 to the family of any terrorist whose home gets bulldozed by Israel, a tactic the Jewish state has employed in the West Bank to deter attacks.

The Iranian diplomat, Mohammad Fathali, giddily unveiled the new scheme to benefit the families of terrorists involved in the ongoing uprising in Jerusalem, which began on Sept. 13, 2015. So far, 32 Israelis and one Palestinian have been murdered, and 357 people injured. The latest figures issued by Israel show 188 stabbings, 75 shootings and 39 vehicle attacks. More than 160 Palestinians have been killed during the same period by Israeli security forces and armed members of the Israeli public, with most reportedly shot while carrying out attacks.

Bernie wanting to get money out of politics would be a threat to AIPAC too.

if anyone is interested.. Israel Social TV has some good reporting on the issues.

It makes me happy that the movement in Israel is getting stronger against the occupation. It shows because the Israeli state is cracking down on them.

Agree with you here, that was downright pathetic. And then Trump calls everyone on it, then does it himself.

Microcosm of the whole race.

Thanks mate  I appreciate that.

I understand its really an issue that people tend to switch off over after a short while but thats partly the reason that I don't.

As I've probably said before, I love especially when the dissent comes from Jews and Israeli activists etc because it chips away at the Israeli-propagated narrative that criticism is anti-semitic. That narrative breakdown means that Americans and others (but especially Americans) start to question what they have had spoon-fed to them. I would have been happy if hostileuniverse actually tried but oh well.

The narrative instead should be about being anti-oppression, this is why the Palestinian cause is allied with so many other activist groups all over the world. Black rights movements in the US etc etc. All these struggles are the same struggle. A similar thing can be said of the other side - Israel aligns with far-right and islamophobic groups all over the world. The conflict is over-simplified, spun and exported. Israel exports a means to, and a brand of, control of internal populations - which in this day and age is becoming increasingly desired by other governments.
