Wow! Does anyone have experience with growing it in a large pot outside in the summer and then cutting it back and overwintering during the cold months, for us northerners? I'm from New York and want in on the fun!

I'm in the south at about 7b and I did it this winter with good results but being up north you'll need a heated greenhouse.

I never cut mine though so when I put it out it'll be just as tall as it was last year.

I'm gonna germinate mine onto agar. I can send you some seeds, I've got a pick of 10. I'll tissue culture them, once they germinate and get a little bigger.

I can't wait to get these seeds going, and enjoy that plant. I just hear that the roots can be toxic, if eaten raw.. but the leaves are ok.

All it takes is a sprout and you know kactus that this moringa hybrid is drought tolerant.

My 7 footer still seems to be living but it's dropped all it's leaves.

I figure it will replenish the leaves when I put it out in spring.

BTW Thanks for the seeds Ferrel I truly love this plant:awepreciation:

You'll get seeds man. I have noticed mine drop off a lot of flowers and then just take off setting fruit. Pods galore. Enoughh to make branches break off. Be patient with them.
