In europe we dont use the term 'cup' as a unit of measurment. So in order to make up my verm/brf mix whats the ratio say in percentages?

I use 2 parts verm, 1 part brf, 1 part water. these meausurements are from the shroomery faq here's the link:

http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/23262

So if a cup is 236ml your mixture should look like this.

1/2 cup verm (118ml)
1/4 cup brf (59ml)
60ml water (1/4 cup)

Hope this helps.

Depending in the size of the vermiculite 60 ml could be too much.

well, the vermin i used was the super fine grade and it appears my jars have stalled with what seems like too much condensation. what are my options? its day 11 with the huautla strain (apparently this particular strain takes awhile, "generally", to colonize). i can't really see any signs of water damage or contam (smells very mushroomy). and the myc isn't fluffy, it has basically just changed the color of my substrate to an off-white color. help!!!
thanks

if you don't know what the normal mycelia looks like for this variety, all you can do is wait and see... there are a few contam molds that have white or off-white mycelia, only experience will let you be able to tell the difference... tell me, is the off-white mycelia rhizomorphic (ropy strands) or cottony looking?
